I'm a collector of figures. I consider them poseable statues. Obviously, this means I remove mine from their packaging. The D.C. ICONS line is the best line of D.C. figures produced, now or ever before. The one shortcoming to the line? Limited articulation. This shortcoming of the line is the greatest of this DeathStroke's shortcomings. He, and his counterparts simply need greater articulation. His other points leaving something to be desired are the mount for his sword sheath; it is too weak, & the other is his holster. His holster is too shallow to accommodate his modest revolver. With the negative commentary out of the way, let me now say that this is bar-none the most LEGIT, most comic book accurate and therefore possessing of all that which made DeathStroke such an instantly attractive and impressive character when Infiest encountered him in the Teen Titans in the 1980's. WORLDS cooler than the video game DeathStroke, and for my part, far superior to the very cool current iteration of DeathStroke. His armor is shiny and an awesome rich azure, and clearly shows the Captain America, Aquaman, scale-armor that's so often eschewed in favor of a simpler flat presentation of the same color. It's great. His utility belt is spot on, as are his pirate style boots, and his cross-body bandolier. He's simply the most legit, coolest looking, most detailed, most awesome to behold, most impressive- even to those who couldn't care less (my girlfriend thinks he's really cool)- and simply far, far, far and away the best and coolest figure ever made of one of the coolest comic book characters ever created, and is, no exaggeration, the jewel of the D.C. ICONS line.I've already purchased two additional DeathStrokes to keep in reserve as I'm sure to handle this one so frequently that I will outdo the intended durability of this figure. Oh yeah, that's one other thing, not about DeathStroke, but about the D.C. ICONS line in general: there are some quality issues, and the wrist joints at the base of the interchangeable hands, are much less hardy than they appears and first feel and are apt to break with the slightest application of too much power.Bottom Line:This DeathStroke figure is Top of the line, First Rate, top shelf, best ever, and just plain AWESOME! They've FINALLY made an ACTUAL DeathStroke figure, and this is it.Purchase it now. Get it as soon as U are able, however U are able. Just get it. He's even better then he looks, and he looks fantastic!Great looking figure except for the paint on the face. I have two orange spots on the grey side.I'm a longtime collector of 6" tall figures, almost exclusively DC Classics and Marvel Legends. DC Collectibles figures would annoy me to end with their odd 6.75" height and limited articulation. Icons came along at my preferred figure height of 6" with a decent amount of articulation. I'm a huge fan of Deathstroke since he first appeared in the second issue of New Teen Titans, great character, great backstory, and great George Perez design, and I've loved the DC Classics figure from several years back, however the Icons version looked like something for me. Sculpt and articulation is excellent, really good paint job with coloring and metallic effects that ring true to the comics, and a really excellent selection of accessories. Really glad I made this purchase, the figure really does the character justice. This is one of the best out, paint is excellent. Scale a bit small, but all these figures of this collection are like that. Can't go wrong with this one.I really like this figure. He looks like he stepped out of the ‘80s Teen Titans comics. He has the usual level of articulation found in the Icons figures. The extra head is a nice touch. Flaws are minor, like not being able to get his pistol in the holster. Overall a great figure.Moves better than most dc toys. A little small for the ratio size it is supposed to be. Otherwise he looks great. Moves great, minus a few spots in the legs. The figure is absolutely cool to pose and look at and has extremely good articulation. Also comes with plenty of accessories including an unmasked head! My box was a little bent up at the corner which could be frustrating for a collector but since I am not, it didn't really bother me. All in all, worth the money!I’m not sure why companies make action figures as fragile as they do. Don’t they know that kids put them into ACTION? And are therefore throwing them, smashing them into each other and the like? Deathstroke has lost a limb since we purchased it but it hasn’t really stopped my kids from playing with him. I just wish these thins were more durable!
